Oh The Things They Say!

Oh my gosh!  These critters are getting so big and verbal!  They are cracking me up these days!  It is funnyhow many of the things they say are because of what they hear us say!  I sure am glad Raj nor I use foul language.  If we did, I would be mortified by what the kids may say.

Here are some of my favorite quotes as of late:

Josh- Mommy get out of my bed.  (When he doesn’t want to wake up)

Evie- To her horse.  I’ve told you three times.  Get over here now.  ( I have no idea who says that in our house :/)

Evie-  Look at me when I’m talking to you.

Maggie- Don’t touch that Mommy.  It’s hot.

Josh-  With the cutest grin on his face….I’m happy mama.  This means someone else is being bad.

Maggie-  In a high squeaky voice, Zoey come here!

Evie-  I’ll get a prize for doing x, y, or z.  Right Mommy?  (Ummm no.  Sorry kiddo)

Maggie-  We go pinkway and exercise now Mommy.  This means she wants me to take her for a run to the greenway.

Josh-  Mighty Machines.  I don’t want Diego.  I don’t want Diego.

Evie-  Mommy you a princess when you married.

Evie-  I’m the biggest.  Josh is the baby.

Maggie-  I want a kiss on my back.  Just odd, I know.

Evie-  You pretty Mommy.

Josh-  Kiss Teddy Bear.

Josh-  Teddy Bear stays right here.

It’s really hard to explain why some of these quotes are so cute.  Just believe me, they are!

I love you all.

Fall 2011 Train Ride

So, since all my pictures are on my camera, which is not with me right now, I’m going to tell you about our train ride this past fall.  It was amazing!!  The kids loved it!  Raj and I loved it!

Oh, you want more info than just us loving it?!?!?

We went to Bryson City, North Carolina for the day.  From Atlanta, this was a very easy day trip. Thus, it wasn’t too expensive and we could go.  We rode the Great Smokey Mountains Railroad.  While on the train, they read “It’s A Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”.  Once we arrived at our “stop”, we were met by Charlie Brown and the gang!!  It was awesome!

They had an amazing area for the kids to play and explore.  Each child got to pick out their own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch to take home.  They were able to play fall oriented games.  There was a pretend neighborhood where the kids were able to trick or treat.  You were able to roast marshmellows.  There were tractor rides and tons of other activities!

The kids loved it all!  The only reason they were willing to leave is because they were getting back on the train again!  It was one of the most amazing days our family has ever spent just having fun!  The memories that were made will definitely last a lifetime!

I love you all.

March of Dimes Ambassador Family

I’m thrilled to announce we are the March of Dimes ambassador family for the North Fulton Chapter this year!  I’m so excited to share our story every chance I get.  This is a huge honor for our family.  It’s even more of an honor because a lot of the funds raised will go to support Northside Hospital and the NICU there.  Considering I have been a nurse on the High Risk Perinatal Unit, a Labor and Delivery nurse, a certified nurse midwife, a clinical instructor, a patient, and the mother of preemie triplets, I feel honored to help the March of Dimes.  I’ve seen what they did for my own kids along with tons and tons of other babies.  No child should have to be born prematurely, and we are all working hard to keep them “cooking” for as long as possible!

Wow!  Look what I have!  I have three three year olds who have flourished and excelled because of the wonderful care at “The Factory” and the March of Dimes.  I hope that this year is just the beginning of my opportunities to work with this amazing organization!

Here a few pics of my cuties from today!

This is Maggie's idea of style!

Evie's walking her "dog"!

I was playing with some programs on the camera. This is Josh and his head!

This is too cute not to post! Josh and Maggie are racing!

I love you all.

These Are The Moments

This morning I was happily playing on my tablet while the kids were watching Diego.  Before I knew it, I was no longer playing on my tablet.  I was, instead, cuddling with the three most precious kiddos in the world as they played on their Kindle Fires.  These are the moments I relish.  These are the moments I hoped would come true.  Even on the days when I’m done, over it, finished, I still remember these moments and start over again.

There's nothing better than three kids and me cuddling on the couch!

I love you all.

Situation Remedied

Do you see anything wrong with the two pictures above?  If you don’t, look again.  If not, look one more time.  Evie is riding Josh’s Spiderman scooter, and Josh is riding the pink Princess scooter.  Ahh, the joys of being the only boy in a set of triplets.  Evie seems to prefer all of Josh’s toys.  I’m still not sure why Santa brought her a pink scooter.  I think I’m going to have to have a long talk with him about it later on.

It drove me crazy watching Josh on the pink scooter.  Josh, on the other hand, was just happy to have a scooter to use without a fight.  Right there on the Greenway, I decided to get Josh another scooter.  My sweet, patient boy was not going to have to ride that scooter one more day.

I have now gone and bought him a Lightening McQueen scooter.  However, not that this is a surprise, but Evie wants the new scooter.  She’s more than willing to share Spiderman with Josh.  Poor boy, he can’t win for anything.  However, his mommy loves him and will make sure he no longer uses anything pink….unless he wants to of course :) .

I love you all.

Fun

Wow! Life’s been fun and crazy since my computer broke. We just had a wonderful Christmas. Now, we are ready for a happy new year.
Today we took the kids to hibachi for lunch, and we had an awesome time. Since this is being posted on my phone, I’ll write more a little later.

Just A Bit Of Advice

i may not have any pictures today, but I have a piece of advice. If you plan only gettingnone kid’shair cut, only take one kid. Today, we took Josh to get his hair cut. By the time we left the salon, Maggie and Evie had each had mani/pedis AND their hair cut! I had planned on spending  20, but I spent 60 instead. At least they all look cute!!!!!!

Fun With Cousins!

We had the opportunity to go and spend the day with my sister and her family recently.  My kids adore their cousins, Uncle Charles, and Aunt Ashley!  There seems to be a special connection between us that I just love!  Granted, I think big kids can love on the little ones in very special ways!

For example, Rebecca Anne brought out all of her Polly Pockets and let the kids play with them!  They loved it!  They are now high on my list to buy for the kids when I have some spare change.  I was never a person who liked toys with lots of little parts when I was growing up (I preferred baby dolls.), but my kids love them.  I sure do want to support that!  Plus, I know they got that awesome gene from their Daddy!

Also, Evie LOVES, LOVES, LOVES her cousin Ryan!  I don’t know what caused this attachment, but it sure is there.  Every time we asked Evie if she wanted to do something, she would ask for Ryan to come.  Even at home, she wants to call and see Ryan.   It’s precious!

Maggie’s love for the Polly Pockets blew my mind!  Plus, she actually knew what to do with them!

We also got to go to the pool while we were visiting them!  I only wish  I had pictures to really show how much fun we had while we were there!  However, I had to be in the pool, so this is all I have.

Let me tell you what my wild kiddos did!  They went down the waterslide over and over again.  Actually, we had too make them stop because we were concerned they were going to fly off the side of slide.  I was glad to have so many people with us to help make sure they didn’t fall off the stairs of the slide and help catch them in the water!

My kids also love the diving board.  I got to tread water for more than 30 minutes as the kids umped off the diving board over and over and over and over and over again!  The only reason we even stopped is because Uncle Charles and Ryan had to go to Ryan’s dentist appointment.  My arms and legs were so tired at that point that I was happy.  The kids were ultra-bummed about having to stop.  I had to promise we would go back again later this summer!

After all the fun we had, Aunt Ashley took us for ice cream!  That sealed the deal for a perfect day.

I love seeing Josh with an ice cream cone in one hand and a Diet Coke in the other!!

My kiddos are fish!  We had so much fun!  Next year is going to be harder since they will be tall enough for the “big” rides.  I could already see them eyeing them this year.  Eeeeek!

I love you all.
