Slides And Savings

We had a great weekend, and a crazy week so far!  Daddy and I took the babies to the park and played on Sunday!  The babies got to go down the slide with Mommy and Daddy for the first time!  I think they liked it!  I know I thought it was great fun!

Sunday at 7pm, I went grocery shopping with coupons.  Guess what time I finished?  10pm!!!!! It was BRUTAL.  My brain hurt so badly by the time I was finished, I think it turned to mush momentarily.  I never knew grocery shopping could make one so tired!  It exhausted me.  Poor Raj.  He called me at 9:40.  He was worried I had been in a car accident or hurt or something.  By the time he called, I was truly in the “zone”!  Plus, I knew Publix closed at 10pm, so I had to hurry!  He was pretty shocked I was still shopping, but once he knew I was fine, we hung up!

Here is the most important part……………

I spent $161…..I saved $157!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you believe that?!?!?!?!?!  I am still pretty shocked.  I know there are ways to save more, but for my first try, I am pleased.  Do you know the coolest part?  I did not buy one store brand item!  It was so neat to come home with brand name foods for cheaper than store brands!

My best friend Amanda from Nashville came in late Sunday night.  She spent a crazy two days with me, and now she is gone.  I am pretty sad.  I miss her.  However, I will get to see her when she comes down for the babies’ birthday party.  OMG!  Can you believe we are talking about their first birthday?  What had happened to the past year?  It has flown by way too quickly!

I love you all.

Daddy’s Day Off Work!!

We had such a fun day today!!!  I LOVE spring!  It is a wonderful time of the year!!  Today, Daddy had off work, so we went to Town Center Park and played!  It was so, so much fun!  We packed the babies up in the stroller and walked over.  It is only about a mile away from our house.  Daddy had not walked through the tunnel yet, so that was fun!  The tunnel for everyone who does not live in Suwanee is new and goes under the railroad tracks.  It connects “Old Town Suwanee” with Town Center Park.  We live in old town, so this is great for us!!  On with my story, so we went over to the park!

Evie and Maggie are waiting on their brother to get going!

The babies had never played in the grass, so that was fun to watch!!  Maggie and Evie loved it.  Josh was not too sure about it!  It was hysterical to watch!!  He did not want  to crawl in it!  After we played for a while, we had a “picnic” and fed the babies.  It was great.  Daddy and I went to Rita’sfor some ice cream before going home.  It was so excited they had fat-free, sugar-free italian ice for 2 points on Weight Watchers!  We all loved every moment of being together and out!  It was all around one of the best days in a long time!

After we got home, I realized my biggest mistake of the day.  I never thought to put sunscreen on the babies.  It never even crossed my mind.  My poor little white boy now has pink legs and a pink face.  Miss Maggie also has pink cheeks.  My little brown bean did not pink up at all!  It is so funny to see how different are all three of my kids.  I did go to the store and buy sunscreen tonight.  I will be using it whenever we got out from now on!  I hope we go out a lot!!

On another note, guess what wild Miss Maggie did?  She climbed the stairs!  Man, I have got to get this house baby proofed!!  I am just glad I caught her before she fell.  Granted, I think she would have probably made it to the top of the stairs had I not caught her!

Look at where I caught Maggie!

Nine Month Old Letters

Evie At Nine Months!

Evie At Nine Months Old!

Dear Miss Evie,

You are my wild, wild little woman.  You LOVE to crawl and pull up to stand.  You will use anyone or anything to get up.  It is really funny to watch.  However, I don’t think your sissy thinks it is funny.  You tend to use her head quiet frequently to pull up!  You love to play with everything.  You are so precious.

You are liking to eat more and more.  You pretty much like all of the foods I feed you.  Your favorite is definitely pears.  You like holding your sippy cup, then dropping it on the floor so I can pick it up.  You are not too sure about the water/juice mix that is in the cup though.  You are drinking 5-7 ounces of formula four times a day.  I am amazed at how much you like all of the different veggies I feed you!  It is great!!

You are growing like a weed.  In know this is a few days after your nine month birthday, but I got all of you and your siblings stats at the doctor yesterday!  You weigh 18lbs 3.5oz and are in the 50% for weight.  You are 28 1/8 inches long and are in the 90% for length.  Your head is 17.25 inches and in the 25%.  You are wearing size 6-9  months clothes and size 3 diapers.

I love you so much.  I love it that you want to cuddle to me.  I love it that you just grin and smile when you see me.  I even love it that you want me to hold you when you are sad.  You are my precious girl.

Love Always,

Mommy

Maggie At Nine Months Old!

Maggie At Nine Months Old!

Dear Miss Maggie,

You are my little scooter-baby!  You can move faster than  your brother and sister combined!!  It is so cute!  If I don’t watch it, you are in another room…instantly!!!  You like to go and be anywhere but the playroom.  Your favorite place to go these days is to the cat food bowl.  You get pretty mad when I move you away from it!  Then, you go right back.  You also LOVE chasing the cats!  Right now they are still faster than you, but I have a feeling you will be able to catch them soon.  I really need to get those baby gates up!!  I am amazed at how incredible you are doing!

You are my most tempermental eater.  You don’t like to eat every four hours.  Generally, you like to eat every five to six hours.  You will also eat only three bottles each day.  I will never force you to eat, and I am definitely not worrying about it!  You do love all of your solid foods.  You also love wiping it all over your face!!  That makes me crazy!  However, since you don’t care, I try not to obsess about it!

You are still my peanut.  You are the littlest in the group.  You weigh 17lbs 2oz and are in the 25% for weight.  You are 27.5 inches long and in the 50% for length.  Your head is 17.5 inches and in the 50%.  You are still in 6-9 month clothes.  You wear size 3 diapers.  Don’t worry about being little.  Your Mimi and Aaji and both little people.  You are in good company!

I love you so much.  You are definitely my little girl.  You look so pitiful when you cry and want me to hold you.  You love to cuddle with me.  You will just touch my face in such a sweet way.  I absolutely love it when you look up, see me, and grin from ear to ear.  I love you so much.

Love Always,

Mommy

Josh At Nine Months Old!

Josh At Nine Months Old!

Dear Mister Josh,

Oh my sweet big man.  You are so precious.  You are just so laid back and mellow.  You are figuring out how to crawl now!!  I am so happy.  Now you don’t have to look sad when your sisters crawl away from you.  You love to chase the big ball around!  You also love it when your sisters crawl all over you!  I love to hear you cackling and laughing!  You are so strong.  You really do amaze me!

You are big eater.  You are starting to eat a little less of your bottles and eating more solids.  You love all of the solids.  You are also my only child who has figured out the sippy cup!  You are also the only child who is starting to hold your own bottle.  You love baby mim-Mums!  It is amazing how you can devour them!  You also make the smallest mess at each meal!  Can you teach your sissys how to be so neat and tidy at meals?!

You are growing so fast!  You weigh 21 pounds exactly and you are in the 50% for weight.  You are 28 7/8 inches long and in the 75% for length.  Your head is 18.25 inches and in the 75%.  You may just end up being a tall boy after all!  You are wearing 12-18 month footed pajamas, but you can still wear 9 month pants.  You like to an entire wardrobe of different sizes!

I love you so much.  I love listening to you laugh and seeing your smile.  You don’t want to be held the way your sissys want to be held, but when I get to hold you, I love it.  You are so content and easy-going.  You are a wonderful little boy.  I love you so, so much.

Love Always,

Mommy

I Love This Picture!

Last night, Raj and I were sitting on the couch with the babies playing.  It was such a special time for us.  I had to get up for a minute, so when I did, I took this picture of Daddy and the babies.  t just makes me smile every time I look at it, and that is quite frequently!  I love watching him with them.  It is so precious.

Our New Playroom!!

Raj and I are in the process of finishing the playroom!  We have converted the dining room into a playroom for the babies…and for us.  We needed the living room to look like, well…like a living room.  We are both tired of almost breaking our necks daily tripping on toys.  Aaji and Aaja bought us our foam tiles for the floor in the playroom.  They are fantastic!  The colors and textures of the tiles are wonderful.  It is also so much softer to play on.  We still have to get our baby gates, the walls painted and decorated, and our toy storage.  We should have all of this done in the next few weeks.

The babies and I played in there all day!  It was so wonderful.  They don’t care if the room is finished or not!  The babies had so much more room to roll, scoot, and explore.  They got to enjoy so many more of their toys!  It was so fun for me to watch them play. I only want a comfortable place to sit.  Once, I have that, I will be very happy.  I have a feeling we be in the playroom all of the time now!  Yippy-Skippy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
