I Am So Depressed
My baby boy is wearing an 18 month sleeper outfit. I am so sad. I think yesterday the preemie outfits were too big on him. Where has the time gone? How did this happen? I am starting to understand why parents get so sad when their kids go to preschool for the first time or graduate from high school. It means they are growing up…..and they will always be “our babies”…but they no longer really are. Imagine a couple of big tears welling up in my eyes.
Focus now. They are so wonderful and healthy, how can I complain? I can’t. I won’t. I am just going to cherish every minute I have with them!

Flabby Friday
Christa at Quintooples has started something called Flabby Friday. The entire point of this is to become healthier. Iknow we all have reasons we want to be healthy, but I have three new ones! I want to be healthy for my babies. I am FINALLY eating right and losing some weight. I have personal weight loss goals that I plan on meeting in the next few months. Right now I am so excited to be two pounds from my prepregnancy weight! Then, I have to lose my infertility weight. Urghhh. However, by the time we go to the beach this summer, everyone we meet are going to be amazed that I have one year old triplets! That is my goal! Come join us on the quest to be healthier!
I love you all.

Rub-A-Dub-Dub! Three Babies In The Tub!
Yesterday I got all wild and tried the babies in the “big” bathtub….alone! They ALL loved it!!!! I was a little nervous about doing it while I was at home alone, so I only started with Evie and Josh in the tub. Maggie had just woken up from her nap, and I didn’t want to shock her by putting her immediately in the tub!! After Evie and Josh were in the tub, I realized I should have put Maggie in too. So, I did!! She loved it more than Josh and Evie combined! I was pretty shocked. They played and played. Maggie loved “swimming” on her tummy! I am certain we will be bathing in the tub most all of the time now! I am not ready to get rid of the duck bath tub quite yet though. I am hoping bathing in the “big” will make bath time even more fun for the babies and me!!
I love you all.

Uh-Oh! I Think I Need Gates!!
I am trying so hard to hold out for the North Fulton Mothers of Multiples consignment sale the first week in March, but that may be a lost cause! I need baby gates….badly!! My babies are crawling, scooting, and rolling all over the place! This includes out of the playroom and into the kitchen or foyer!! Maggie loves to roll and scoot to the window next to the front door! She loves to look outside. She thinks there is a better view from there than from the windows in the playroom! Josh is just happy to find a way to escape the playroom! Evie is always aiming for the kitchen! There is lots of stuff for her to try to get into in there!! Oh my!! It’s starting to get crazy…..and I LOVE it!!!
I love you all!

Crazy Fun Day!!
First off, before I get started talking about my day, I want you to look at the sidebar and see the links I have posted for “Babies Needing Prayers.” Please just email me or send me a comment about other babies who need to be on this list. Don’t just pray for the babies, pray for their families also. They really need it too. I have already added Baby Garrett to the list. Kimberly emailed me about him. He was born this week at just 25 weeks weighing 1 pound 5 ounces.
So, about my day! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!! I took the babies to Newnan to meet my friend Jen for lunch. We had an absolute blast. I am not sure we ever really got to visit because of all the craziness of SIX babies, but it sure was fun. I never knew it was possible to sit in a Chick-fil-A Dwarf House for over two hours. However, nothing is impossible!
It was so fun watching our children interact. Evie was the funniest! She was absolutely fascinated with Anna. Anna was not real sure about Evie at times….especially because Evie was very interested in her hair bow! The dynamics were just incredible. I think Josh was just amazed to know there are others boys in the world besides himself! Maggie just had a blast laughing and talking and being a little stinker once or twice. She is smart and knows how to get what she wants!!
There were people in the restaurant taking pictures of us with their camera phones! How insane is that?! We were just two women with six kids between us, not with purple, spiked hair! That was a little odd to both Jen and myself. The interesting part is they were not even trying to be subtle. They were very blatant in what they were doing. It did kind of irritate me, but I was too busy to do anything about it. I hope whoever sees those pictures are amazed….I guess.
I am so excited that me, Jen, and any other Moms who want to meet up with us are going to go to the Georgia Aquarium in the next few weeks! That should also be a blast! If you read this blog and want to meet up with us….after we set a date….just email me! We would love to have anyone who wants to come!
It was so nice to get out with the babies on an outing. I can’t wait until our next one!
I love you all.

So Many Families Need Prayers
Today I am sitting here struck by how many “blog friends” I have who have really sick kids/babies. After everything that happened to Maggie, I can genuinely understand the fear of losing a child. In the next day or two, I am going to add an area to my sidebar with the links to blogs of families I know who need our prayers. Never in my life have I ever felt se led to do something like this, but I do now. I guess as a Mom, the worst thing that could ever happen to me is to watch one of my children struggle or suffer. It really hits home in a way now that it never has before in my life. I am so madly and deeply in love with my babies, I can’t imagine having to watch them suffer or struggle with life and death issues. Because I know how many people have prayed for us, I would like for everyone to pray for these families.
I have three families that need to be prayed for NOW.
The first family has 19 month old triplets as well as a 2 1/2 month old little girl. Brady, one of the triplets, was unexpectedly diagnosed with Neuroblastoma (a very rare form of cancer) 3 days ago. His who family’s world has been rocked in a way most of us will never understand. Please pray for Brady and his family.
The second little guy we need to pray for is Ian. He is also a triplet. He is 10 months old and may have encephailits. He is in the hospital tonight, and he has just had a spinal tap. I know his Mommy and Daddy are very scared and overwhelmed.
Please also continue to pray for baby Harper. Her Mommy is so ready for her to be off the ventilator and to be able to hold her. That day will come very soon.
If anyone knows of any other kiddos who need our prayers, please just email me at ginny@c64.us and I will add them.
I love you all.

You Are All My Favorites
There is a really precious book called “You Are All My Favorites” written by Sam McBratney that my friend Jen gave to me when I was pregnant with the triplets. It is one of the sweetest books ever. I read it to the babies when they were in my tummy and since they have been home. The story revolves around baby bears who are triplets asking their parents how can they all be favorites. I have been thinking about how each of my babies are my favorites. I always want them to know that each of them are really “my favorites” as they grow up.
You are my favorite because you are my first born baby. You will always be the oldest. You are so energetic and fun. You love to play with toys. The little smirk you have on your face when you are getting into mischief is beyond adorable. You are so amazing to watch develop! You are afraid of nothing and will do anything! We are in trouble! You are my only little girl with crystal blue eyes. You will always be my favorite Evie in the whole world because you are the only one of you.
You are my favorite because I breathed air into your precious lungs fighting to save your life. There is a bond between you and I that even you will probably never fully understand. You are my beautiful little girl with extraordinarily dark brown eyes. Oh they are gorgeous. You are my cuddle bug. You like to have me very close by at all times. You are definitely a Mommy’s girl, and I love that! You will always be my favorite Maggie in the whole world because you are the only one of you.
You are my favorite because you are my precious boy. Every mommy should have a little boy just like you. You are hysterically funny at times! You are my kiddo who will just roll over anyone and anything to get to the toy of your dreams! This can make your sisters a little mad. You are so happy most of the time. You love to babble and laugh. You will always be my favorite Josh in the whole world because you are the only one of you.
I love you all.

IHOP For Dinner
Today has been a crazy day. Maggie had PT this morning. Then, we had to run by Northside for me to pick something up for work. However, “running by Northside” never really happens for me….especially when I have the babies with me! Everyone is loving watching them grow up! Evie was a ham the entire time we were there! She was hysterical. I ended up watching the inauguration in the waiting room for Labor and Delivery with tons of other people. Evie was held by Mike, the respiratory therapist who took care of her at birth, during the inauguration and had a blast playing with his stethoscope! Josh slept. Maggie was so content in the stroller, I left her there. It was a wild day. I loved every minute of it though.
Tonight, I took the babies to have dinner with Mimi and Aunt JuJu at the local IHOP. The waiters and waitresses were just in awe of them. Evie sat in a big girl highchair the entire time we were there. She did not want to be strapped into her carseat during dinner. I can’t believe she is big enough to do that now!! Dinner was fantastic. EmmaClaire and OletaKate loved getting to see the babies, and I loved getting to see them.
Please don’t forget to continue praying for Baby Harper. She needs all the prayers she can get right now.
Now, here are a few pictures from dinner.

It took this picture promising OletaKate I was going to put her picture on "my computer"! Here it is sweet girl!
I love you all.

Evie’s Shopping Trip
This is actually a pretty sad admission. Before Saturday, Evie had never been on an excursion alone with me…or anyone for that matter. She has just never needed to go to extra doctor appointments. She doesn’t need physical therapy, and, honestly, she is pretty low maintenance. Because of those things, she generally gets left at home with her Daddy. I have always felt a little bad about this fact, but life with triplets can be tough and I forget I need to do special things with each individual child.
Saturday, Evie and I finally went out together alone!! She was a little higher maitenance than normal. She didn’t want to take a nap, so I took her out with me! Aunt Joy called and wanted to know if I wanted to go shopping with her at Sugar Plum Kids. The store here in Suwanee is closing. I am pretty bummed about that, but there were some awesome deals….and Evie and I got to spend time together!! Evie and I went, and we had a blast! I put her in the Bjorn (which I have never used out) and we shopped and shopped. She so sweetly held one of my fingers almost the entire time we were there. She loved feeling the clothes and taking in the “outside” world. I loved having her near me and spending some much needed special time alone with my special girl.
I am going to make an effort to take each child out for “fun” time alone with me. By “fun” time I mean going to the store or out for coffee. I want to make sure each of the babies know how special they are as individuals as well as a group. With the craziness that is my life, I tend to forget that. However, I am going to work hard at not forgetting. It is fun to get to go out alone with ONE baby! I feel a little lost, but it is so wonderful!!
Evie wanted to model some of the clothes we bought. I have to preface these pictures with the fact that the clothes are too big. I was buying for this next summer. However, it will be fun to compare how much she grows between now and then!
The girls both flat out refused to model Josh’s clothes, so you will all have to wait on pins and needles to see his new outfits!!
I love you all.
