Today Maggie had a cardiology appointment to check her heart to see if there has been any thickening ruling out high blood pressure.  She seems fine!!!  Praise God!!  Anywho, we had to wait on her echo-cardiogram today.  Dr. Sabino, the BEST pediatric cardiologist in Atlanta, told us to go have lunch and come back for it.  I totally forgot Maggie’s formula, because I was not thinking we would be gone for over FOUR hours.  I decided the second best thing was to give her some solids.  So, logically, we went to Waffle House.  This was the first time Maggie had ever experienced the wonder of the Waffle House.  She LOVED it!!!  She is so related to me and my family!  I only fed her grits, the first grits she had ever had, and she loved them!!  What a good southern girl she is!!  I am so glad we have survived another hurdle.  At least one of my children loved the Waffle House!!  I can’t wait to take the others!!  I didn’t have my camera, but I did have my cell phone.  Right now I can’t seem to get the pictures up, but I will soon.  This was an important event to document!

We are now on round #2 of the crud. Poor Evie has been the only victim this time….so far. I hope we keep it like that. Needless to say, I have not gotten very much sleep in the past two nights. I am hoping to sleep more tonight. Evie is no longer running fever. Pray we catch a break tonight, and the babies sleep.

Do you ever wonder if your life is “normal”?  I know in lots of peoples’ minds, my life is not “normal” because I am the mother of triplets.  However, I think it is really normal.  Isn’t that crazy?!  We just have to feed an extra couple of babies! 

Here are the reasons I “think” we are normal……

1.  We get to virtually all appointments on time or early.

2.  We have two cats.

3.  We go to church as often as we can.

4.  We see different family members on a daily basis.

5.  We have numerous computers in our house.

6.  We Tivo tons of shows.

7.  We sing the ABC song 500 times a day!

8.  We put the babies in the crib awake and they go to sleep!

9.  I take the babies on walks as frequently as possible.

10.  We rarely eat out these days.

11.  We do 1-2 loads of laundry a day.

12.  We do 2-3 loads of dishes a day…Ouch!

13.  We have at least 3 of everything.

14.  We have 4 different strollers and a choo-choo wagon.

15.  We don’t have a minivan….but we wish we did!

16.  I love to use the crock-pot.

17.  We turned our dining room into a play room.

18.  We shop at Wal-Mart.

19.  We separate the kids’ vaccines.

20.  We are genuinely a very happy family.

21.  Raj and I have a great marriage.

I have at least convinced myself we are normal as everyone else!  I don’t know why this has been on my mind lately, but it has.  I feel better!

It’s been another week, and I am down 1.2 pounds!!!!  Whoo-Hoo!!!!  I am so shocked I lost any weight after going out with my BFF and her husband on Saturday night!!  We went to Dominick’s on the square in Lawrenceville, and it was so, so yummy!  Then, we went to the Loafing Leprechaun for drinks and desert.  It was so much fun to be out on a “Double Date”!  Me, Raj, Kevin, and Stephie are hoping to go out at least once a month.  It almost reminded of us of when we were young and single….all except having to get up early to feed kids and change diapers the next day!!  Raj and I love getting to go out with friends.  It really keeps us sane!!

I rarely ever talk about my cats.  They are my furbabies.  I love my cats.  They have always been such a wonderful addition to my life.  They love me and Raj, but I am not sure if they love the babies.  I feel so bad I am not able to love and cuddle with them as much as I used to be able.  Oh well.  I use my baby free moments to have furbaby moments! 

I took some pictures today of some of the reasons why the furbabies miss the pre-triplet life!!  It really is fun to watch the “cat and mouse” chase around our house these days!!  I think the babies like it tons and tons more than Moe and Zoey though!

Evie At Nine Months Old!

Dear Miss Evie,

You are my wild, wild little woman.  You LOVE to crawl and pull up to stand.  You will use anyone or anything to get up.  It is really funny to watch.  However, I don’t think your sissy thinks it is funny.  You tend to use her head quiet frequently to pull up!  You love to play with everything.  You are so precious.

You are liking to eat more and more.  You pretty much like all of the foods I feed you.  Your favorite is definitely pears.  You like holding your sippy cup, then dropping it on the floor so I can pick it up.  You are not too sure about the water/juice mix that is in the cup though.  You are drinking 5-7 ounces of formula four times a day.  I am amazed at how much you like all of the different veggies I feed you!  It is great!!

You are growing like a weed.  In know this is a few days after your nine month birthday, but I got all of you and your siblings stats at the doctor yesterday!  You weigh 18lbs 3.5oz and are in the 50% for weight.  You are 28 1/8 inches long and are in the 90% for length.  Your head is 17.25 inches and in the 25%.  You are wearing size 6-9  months clothes and size 3 diapers. 

I love you so much.  I love it that you want to cuddle to me.  I love it that you just grin and smile when you see me.  I even love it that you want me to hold you when you are sad.  You are my precious girl.

Maggie At Nine Months Old!

Dear Miss Maggie,

You are my little scooter-baby!  You can move faster than  your brother and sister combined!!  It is so cute!  If I don’t watch it, you are in another room…instantly!!!  You like to go and be anywhere but the playroom.  Your favorite place to go these days is to the cat food bowl.  You get pretty mad when I move you away from it!  Then, you go right back.  You also LOVE chasing the cats!  Right now they are still faster than you, but I have a feeling you will be able to catch them soon.  I really need to get those baby gates up!!  I am amazed at how incredible you are doing!

You are my most tempermental eater.  You don’t like to eat every four hours.  Generally, you like to eat every five to six hours.  You will also eat only three bottles each day.  I will never force you to eat, and I am definitely not worrying about it!  You do love all of your solid foods.  You also love wiping it all over your face!!  That makes me crazy!  However, since you don’t care, I try not to obsess about it!

You are still my peanut.  You are the littlest in the group.  You weigh 17lbs 2oz and are in the 25% for weight.  You are 27.5 inches long and in the 50% for length.  Your head is 17.5 inches and in the 50%.  You are still in 6-9 month clothes.  You wear size 3 diapers.  Don’t worry about being little.  Your Mimi and Aaji and both little people.  You are in good company!

I love you so much.  You are definitely my little girl.  You look so pitiful when you cry and want me to hold you.  You love to cuddle with me.  You will just touch my face in such a sweet way.  I absolutely love it when you look up, see me, and grin from ear to ear.  I love you so much.

Josh At Nine Months Old!

Dear Mister Josh,

Oh my sweet big man.  You are so precious.  You are just so laid back and mellow.  You are figuring out how to crawl now!!  I am so happy.  Now you don’t have to look sad when your sisters crawl away from you.  You love to chase the big ball around!  You also love it when your sisters crawl all over you!  I love to hear you cackling and laughing!  You are so strong.  You really do amaze me!

You are big eater.  You are starting to eat a little less of your bottles and eating more solids.  You love all of the solids.  You are also my only child who has figured out the sippy cup!  You are also the only child who is starting to hold your own bottle.  You love baby mim-Mums!  It is amazing how you can devour them!  You also make the smallest mess at each meal!  Can you teach your sissys how to be so neat and tidy at meals?!

You are growing so fast!  You weigh 21 pounds exactly and you are in the 50% for weight.  You are 28 7/8 inches long and in the 75% for length.  Your head is 18.25 inches and in the 75%.  You may just end up being a tall boy after all!  You are wearing 12-18 month footed pajamas, but you can still wear 9 month pants.  You like to an entire wardrobe of different sizes! 

I love you so much.  I love listening to you laugh and seeing your smile.  You don’t want to be held the way your sissys want to be held, but when I get to hold you, I love it.  You are so content and easy-going.  You are a wonderful little boy.  I love you so, so much.

Oh my gosh! Evie pulled herself up to standing while Raj was in the kitchen today. I was not home at the time. I was at my friend Nicole’s wedding shower! Hey Nicole! Raj was fast enough and got a picture of it!!
