The Next Monet
Do you ever wonder if Monet ate his paint when he was a little boy? Do you ever wonder if he finger painted as a child? Have you ever wondered how many outfits he ruined with paint as a young child? I don’t know, but I do know what my child did! Evie at the paint (thank goodness it is non toxic), she painted her face and clothing (she did use pink though), and Evie hasn’t finger painted yet, but it will be soon!!!
Today, out of sheer desperation, I took the kids to Imaginations at Play. They all had been sweet and happy cranky and fussy children all morning long. I finally decided to take them to play and see if that improved their moods. Relatively speaking, it did. I am so glad to have a year pass. Because of this, I can take the babies to play whenever I want!!! I digress. We played and played.
Then, it was lunch. Shoot me. There were tons of people there today. All of the tables and high chairs were being used. I had three toddlers who were MELTING DOWN, and I needed to feed them….yesterday. I asked Melissa if I could feed them in one of the party rooms and she obliged. I THOUGHT they would sit on the bench of the table.
They did.
For less than one minute.
Maggie fell off and almost broke her neck. Then, Evie fell on top of her. I was done. I was past done. All I could think is this day could not get any tougher.
Once I figured out eating at the table was not going to work, I put the plastic placemat on the floor and set out the food. We had our first indoor picnic! It didn’t turn out too badly. By the way, if you don’t have kids yet, don’t judge. You will do the same thing one day out of desperation too!!
After eating, I let the kids play some more. Since almost everyone left, I decided the girls could paint. Josh was not interested. He was playing with cars and the imaginary grill. The girls actually enjoyed painting. I personally was glad to know the paint was washable and non-toxic! As you can tell, I may have a Monet on my hands!!!
Oh yeah! One other thing. While we were there, I was asked if I am the kids’ nanny. I was like “No. I am their mom.”. That is the first time I have ever been asked that one before!!
Have a good night.
I love you all.

Please Pray For Stellan
Baby Stellan is very sick. His heart is in SVT and his little body cannot handle it anymore. His heart is pumping at 200 or more beats per minute. Please pray for him, his parents, his family, and all of the cardiologists caring for him. Please pray for a miracle.
You can follow his story at My Charming Kids…..his mom’s blog.

I love you all.

Question Of The Week
I am thoroughly enjoying the Question of the Week each week from Multiples and More. My brain thinks about something a little different each week with the questions. This week’s question is “If you could have dinner with any five people, living or dead, who would they be and why?”.
I asked Raj this question. Here is who he would choose. I didn’t ask him why though!
1. George Washington
2. Benjamin Franklin
3. Ronald Reagan
4. Thomas Jefferson
5. Bill Gates
Here are the five people I would choose.
1. Jackie Kennedy……I think she is one of the most classic women of all times.
2. Princess Diana….She was such a wonderful mother to her boys. She was so beautiful, thoughtful, and kind to all people.
3. Winston Churchill…..He is one amazing man.
4. Paula Deen….Come on now! I am a true southern girl! She reminds me of my mom, she is a great cook, and she’s alive! She could fix the dinner for us! Actually, she could teach me and I would help her!
5. All of my blog friends! There are so many different bloggers I would love to meet in real life! Maybe one day that will happen!
I love you all.

One Year Ago Today….MAGGIE LIVED!!!!
One year ago today, Maggie lived! I am so happy to have a perfectly happy, healthy, and WILD child on my hands!!!! God is so good.
Every time I look at the floor in the living room and kitchen, I think about doing chest compressions on my precious baby. That was truly the worst/best day of my life. It changed me. I am not the same person I was before. I appreciate life in a way now that I never did before. I love all of my children more than words can say, however, there is something special about Maggie. I guess once you have done 5 minutes of chest compressions and breaths on your child thinking you may be planning a funeral, it’s just different.
If you don’t know what I am talking about, here is the link to the first blog I wrote after the incident.
I love you baby girl!

My Unsung Help
I rarely mention it, but this is only because I know she does not want the attention. However, I just want to tell my mom thank you so much.
You have done so much for me and us over the past two years. I don’t know how I would have survived without you. Thank you for all the Robek’s shakes.
Thank you for all the Krispy Kreme donoughts at the hospital. Thank you being there so much with me.
Thank you for helping me get through the early days of the NICU.
Thank you for cramming three carseats in the back of your teeny tiny car. Thank you for all of the 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. feeds.
Thank you for all the nights you have stayed at the house so Raj and I can go out. Thank you for hurdling your car across the railroad tracks to be with me right after Maggie’s incident.
Thank you for all of the appointments you have been to with me. Thank you for the groceries you have picked up for us.
Thank you for all of the clothes for the kids. Thank you for coming and playing with us so much.
Thank you for all of the help you have given to me to help me not just survive, but thrive. Thank you for loving me, Raj, and the kids so much. I love you more than you will ever know.
Love Always,
Ginny

Ketchup
I think Maggie and Raj resemble each other. Now I can see another resemblance. They both ADORE ketchup. I personally am not too fond of it. I like it, but I can take it or leave it. This is not the case with my middle daughter.
Case in point….I have been putting a little ketchup on their trays when I feed them fish sticks or chicken nuggets at meals. Maggie will scoop up the ketchup and eat it. She will just ignore the main dish! Last night, she was even trying to lean over and lick the ketchup off the tray!! It was hysterical! Raj and I did get some video of it, but I love these pictures! I am certain they will one day be used for blackmail!!!
I love how my kids make me laugh! There is nothing better in the world!
I love you all.

What Would I Do With $10,000,000?
The Question of the Week from Multiples and More is “What would I do with $10,000,000?”.
So, here is my answer….
1. We would pay off all of our debt. That’s a no brainer.
2. We would buy an 8 passenger Toyota Sienna minivan.

3. We would give our tithes and offerings.
4. We would put enough money away for all of the kids’ schooling. If I had my druthers, they would go to any of the following schools….
NYU, Harvard, Duke, Georgtown, Vanderbilt, Columbia
5. We would buy a house on the beach.
6. I would buy Raj the Mercedes two seater convertible he wants….yes it is a classic.

9. I would hire a fulltime chef, personal trainer, and fashonista to take care of all of us.
10. I would also buy some jewelry….I can pass it down to kids, so I won’t feel to guilty about the splurge!
11. Yes, even with the poor economy, we would still invest a lot of the money.
12. Oh yeah. I would also have the house professionally decorated!
13. I WOULD HAVE MORE BABIES…..LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS MORE BABIES!!!!!!!!!!
The more I have sat here and tried to think of how I would spend $10,000,000 I realize I really have all I need. I have the most wonderful husband, the three sweetest children, wonderful family, and dear friends. Money would be nice, but all the people in my life make it perfect!
I love you all.
