Hot and Healthy Through the Holidays

Well, I have finished the first week of “Hot and Healthy Through the Holidays”. I did okay this week. I only worked out four days. I’m 18 minutes shy of the goal of 150 minutes. That’s not too bad considering everything going on this week. However, you should have seen me trying to exercise with Denise Austin with the kiddos playing all around me! I think that should score me a few more minutes for that in and of itself! Maggie loved watching Denise “dance” on the t.v.! She would get into it herself at times! It was very, very hard not to stop and laugh hysterically at her! I will say doing aerobics around kids is a major feat! I would have made my goal of exercising 5 days this week, but I chose to go out to Toys R Us instead! We came up with a Christmas wish list a mile long for the trio. I can’t wait to see what Santa brings!

From these two pictures, can you tell where I was supposed to be doing my aerobics?!?!? Yep! Exactly where they are playing! Can you see all the things they pulled out? A keyboard. A stick. My pocketbook. Let me just say doing ANYTHING for myself with the kids around is a challenge. Normally I just don’t do whatever I need to do. This is different though!

Good job Ginny!! It’s hard to exercise with one underfoot..I can’t imagine 3..you go girl!! Great job!!

Well isn’t that called ‘a family affair’? laughing and smiling burns calories too so all was not lost. Oh Mr. Santa has a wish list for the babies? Whew! I like that idea, I must get intouch with that fellow.
