Decorating the Tree

But first, Hot and Healthy Through the Holidays…..yeah right!!! I have had a very off week, and there was just too much going on last Tuesday for me to post…..then life happened. So, if you count walking to the park and back pushing the triplet stroller, I worked out three times. If you don’t, it’s just once. Yeah. One of those weeks. The week before I did work out four days and if you include the five mile March of Dimes walk with three cranky babies and a very kind husband, I exercised five days. You choose for yourself. I’m actually rejoining Weight Watchers this week. I had lost nearly twenty pounds earlier this year, then after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and starting pretty horrendous medications, my weight came back. I am so not okay with that. I have to get back to where I want. So, I figured there’s no time like the present. Also, there’s a Mommy and Me meeting. That’s going to help a ton! I hope my routine is better this week.

Now…..

Sagas from decorating a Christmas tree with THREE one and a half year old toddlers. The kiddos were amazed by all of it! Josh calls the Christmas ornaments “balls” continuously. That’s not a good thing. He likes to throw them. Yes he sure does. Dad and I are both so glad they’re all plastic! Josh was continually trying to take the ornaments and throw them. Oh the things we must teach our children.

Evie was very laid back. All she really wanted to do was lay on the bean bag and play with a box of balls. It was obvious she was just taking it all in. She is one smart little cookie though. She was the only child who really grasped the concept of putting the ornaments on the tree. It was truly amazing!

Miss Maggie was enthralled by the entire process. She loved the lights! She wedged herself almost behind the tree playing with the lights! It was so sweet. She was so happy through the first process. It was so much fun to watch her!

Once we put the kiddos to bed, Mimi and I finished decorating the tree. Raj and I were exhausted from the long day had. Also, the Georgia/Georgia Tech game was on! Raj needed a break, and I just wanted the tree finished. Raj stayed with us through the entire process. He is so sweet!

Now, my only goal now is to teach the kiddos to not mess with tree…….! Maybe that will happen by next year!!!

Oh yeah!!! I need to take a picture of the completed tree!!! I’ll do that sooner than later….I hope!!!

I love you all.

Raj should have left Josh on top of the tree with the star he he! That was a perfect shot. Evelyn did look laid back and Miss Margaret was ready for fun and playing tot he camera. The babies looked like they were having fun with the lights…so many of them. Wow you all look so sweet and pretty.
