Week #6

Wow! I can’t believe this has been going on for six weeks……and that I have only missed posting one week!

This was a very, very challenging week for me. Our wedding anniversary and PHENOMINAL dinner at Ray’s on the River followed by Raj’s 40th birthday has made it a challenge. I have done okay. I have been eating tons of fruits and veggies. I did join Weight Watchers. I went to the “Mommy and Me” meeting. Chasing three one year olds was BRUTAL, but I did it. I will do it again this week too. I got in about 3.5 hours of exercise this week. I’ll definitely be happy with that.

My sister and I are now training for a race. Our goal is to run the ING Georgia Marathon in March. With the two of us together, I’m certain we can do it. So, Sunday morning (before church) we ran eight miles! I can’t believe how fast the mileage is increasing. This week we’ll run 10 miles. Eek!! I just have to keep reminding myself it’s only two more than last week!

Anyways, I took the kids and had Christmas pictures taken! Here’s one of my favorites!

Evie is missing a shoe though!

Oh yeah.  The getting to know you post came from www.mannland5.com !

I love you all.

8 miles!!! WOW! I am really impressed. I want to be a runner but can’t seem to get started. I told my hubby that a I want a treadmill for Christmas, that would be really nice. Good luck with your 10 miles this week :o )
